UAB “Sell-A-Tack” is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

We collect and use your personal data to enable your access to our Platform, provide our services, fulfill the purchase-sale agreement entered into with you, carry out commercial activities on the Platform, use the electronic payment system, leave feedback, and communicate with other members. To use these services, an account is required. Therefore, you must register on the website and become a member.

Most of your personal data is necessary for us to fulfill the contract (Terms and Conditions) entered into with you. If you do not provide this data, we will be unable to conclude and execute the contract. Some of your data is necessary for us to comply with legal obligations as a Platform member. Without this data, we cannot fulfill legal requirements or provide services.

  • Intermediary – UAB “Sell-A-Tack”, legal entity code 307141227, registered address: Panemunės g. 7, Prienai, LT-59116. This means UAB “Sell-A-Tack” does not buy or sell goods itself, but provides a platform where users (private individuals) buy and sell from each other. The Intermediary manages the system, ensures payment security, offers integrated shipping services, applies buyer protection fees, but is not considered a direct seller.
  • sellatack.com – The online store available at https://sellatack.com/lt/
  • User (Buyer) – Any natural person who uses the online store to order, upload, sell, or purchase goods.
  • Personal Data – Any information related to a natural person whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly determined.
  • Data Controllerhttps://sellatack.com/lt/
  • Account – The result of the Buyer registering on the Platform, containing personal data (name, surname, bank account number, email, date of birth, etc.).
  • Services – All services provided to the Buyer by https://sellatack.com/lt/.
  • IP Address – A unique number assigned to every device connected to the internet, often used to identify the country from which a computer connects.
  • Terms and Conditions – The approved and current “Purchase-Sale Terms on the Online Platform https://sellatack.com/lt/”.

Other terms used in this Privacy Policy are to be understood as defined by the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.


2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Privacy Policy ensures that the Intermediary complies with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Electronic Communications, and other applicable legislation on personal data protection, as well as the guidance of competent authorities.

The Privacy Policy defines the main rules for the collection, accumulation, and processing of personal data while using the services offered on https://sellatack.com/lt/. It is designed to protect and safeguard Buyers’ personal data from unlawful use.

Buyers can carry out purchases on the Platform only after registering.


3. PERSONAL DATA PROVISION, LEGAL BASIS, AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The information collected about Buyers depends on the services you use and the information you provide when registering on or using https://sellatack.com/lt/. We obtain your personal data in the following ways:

  • It is generated automatically, as permitted by law (e.g., website or social media visits, use of apps);

Only registered users can make purchases. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the personal data they provide.

To register, you must provide an email and create a password. An Account is created during registration. The Buyer must enter their personal data (name, surname, phone number, email) and is solely responsible for its accuracy. A User ID is assigned.

The Buyer may:

  • Edit and/or update their personal data in the Account;

The Intermediary collects and processes your personal data based on lawful grounds defined by applicable laws, for the following reasons:

  • Conclusion and execution of a contract with you;

  • Resolving disputes between members related to purchases.

The Intermediary processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring the security of your account and the Platform.

The Intermediary may disclose your data to:

  • Third parties when required by law or to protect the legitimate interests of the Intermediary (e.g., courts, government or law enforcement).

4. PERSONAL DATA USAGE AND RETENTION PROCEDURE

The User (Buyer) authorizes https://sellatack.com/lt/ to collect, manage, process, and retain their personal data to the extent and for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy and other documents.

Data is retained for as long as necessary to achieve its purpose. Once that purpose is achieved, data is deleted, unless applicable law requires its retention for a specific period, after which it is deleted in a non-recoverable way.

The Intermediary ensures internal organizational and technical measures to protect Buyer data from unauthorized actions: illegal modification, disclosure, destruction, identity theft, fraud, and ensures compliance with Lithuanian data protection regulations.

The Buyer must keep their login credentials confidential and not disclose any personal data of themselves or others. If they become aware of a breach, they must inform the Intermediary immediately.


5. EXERCISING THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Users (Buyers) whose data is processed by the Intermediary have the following rights:

  • To be informed about the processing of their data;
  • To access their personal data and how it is processed;
  • To request correction, deletion, or suspension of data processing if it is done unlawfully;
  • To object to the processing of their personal data.

All rights are fulfilled only after verifying the identity of the requesting person. Requests can be submitted via email at ___info@sellatack.com____________________.

The Intermediary may deny the fulfillment of certain rights when necessary for the prevention, investigation, or detection of criminal offenses, professional or ethical misconduct, or to protect the rights and freedoms of other persons.

6. USE OF COOKIES

7. FINAL PROVISIONS
