General Provisions

These rules govern the conditions of purchase and sale between individuals registered on the Platform.

The Platform operates as an intermediary, providing a technical tool for buying and selling goods, but the Intermediary is not considered a party to the purchase-sale agreement.

The Platform is exclusively for the trade of used and/or second-hand equestrian clothing and items.

  • User (Buyer) – Any individual who uses the online store to list, upload, sell, or purchase goods.
  • Intermediary (Platform) – UAB “Sell-A-Tack”, legal entity code 307141227, registered at Panemunės g. 7, Prienai, LT-59116. UAB “Sell-A-Tack” does not itself buy or sell goods – it provides a platform through which users (private individuals) may buy and sell goods among themselves. The Intermediary manages the system, ensures payment security, offers integrated shipping services, applies buyer protection fees, but is not regarded as the direct seller of goods.

Conclusion of Contract

A purchase-sale agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is concluded when the Buyer selects goods on the Platform, completes payment, and the Seller confirms the order.

The Platform holds the Buyer’s payment until the Buyer confirms receipt of goods that are of satisfactory quality and match the Seller’s item description.


Buyer Protection

A Buyer Protection Fee is applied to ensure secure payments and allow for the initiation of returns in case of discrepancies.

The Buyer must confirm receipt or submit a claim no later than 3 days after receiving the item.

Claims are reviewed by the Platform Intermediary. A claim is approved if:

  • (a) The item has major defects not disclosed in the description;
  • (b) The item does not match the provided photos (e.g., different color, size, model);
  • (c) The item is damaged or non-functional (and this was not mentioned).

A claim is rejected if:

  • (a) The defects or condition were clearly indicated in the description or photos;
  • (b) The claim is submitted after the designated time;
  • (c) The item shows normal wear consistent with its nature.

Shipping Conditions

The Seller must ship the goods to the Buyer within 3 business days from payment confirmation.

The Seller must provide a tracking number (if applicable) via the Platform.

Shipping is carried out using a delivery method agreed upon by both parties. Shipping costs may be included in the product price or paid separately by agreement.

The Platform is not responsible for the actions or inactions of third-party delivery service providers.


Return Conditions

The Buyer has the right to return items only if the condition or quality does not match the description and photos.

Return process:

  1. The Buyer submits a claim with photos via the Platform;
  2. The Platform evaluates the claim and notifies both parties of the decision;
  3. Upon return approval, the Buyer ships the item back to the Seller;
  4. The Platform refunds the Buyer once the Seller confirms receipt of the returned item.

Payment Terms

The Buyer makes payment through the Platform’s integrated payment system.

The Buyer pays the item price plus the Buyer Protection Fee.

The Platform holds the payment in a secure account until the Buyer confirms that the item was received and matches the description.

Once confirmed, the Platform transfers the funds to the Seller, deducting applicable platform administration and buyer protection fees.


Liability of the Parties

  • The Seller is responsible for ensuring that items match their descriptions and photos.
  • The Buyer is responsible for returning goods in proper condition, without damaging or diminishing the quality of returned items.
  • The Platform is not liable for the parties’ obligations or breaches but will assist in mediating dispute resolution.

User Conduct Rules

Users must use the Platform honestly, comply with applicable laws, and not use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

It is forbidden to upload misleading, inaccurate, or illegal content.

Users must not post harmful, offensive, or unlawful material.

The Platform’s administration reserves the right to remove any misleading content or products.


Prohibited Items List

It is prohibited to sell the following on the Platform:

  • Dangerous or unsafe items;
  • Severely damaged or unusable items;
  • Items that are illegal to sell under applicable laws.

Other Provisions

The Platform reserves the right to unilaterally amend these rules, informing users of any changes.

All disputes are resolved through negotiation, and if unsuccessful, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
